After months of delay, Anurag Kashyap‘s Bombay Velvet trailer is finally out and I, for one, am super excited! Last night the makers released the breathtaking posters of the film and had us wake up to the much-awaited trailer. Usually when big films build up in the audiences’ minds like this one did, it’s very easy to feel rather underwhelmed by the promos. Thankfully though, I wasn’t disappointed at all.
Based on historian Gyan Prakash‘s book Mumbai Fables, Bombay Velvet essentially tells the story of the city Mumbai and its evolution in the ’60s against the smashing backdrop of romance, action and jazz music!
Ranbir Kapoor is getting us super excited already and people will be looking out for Anushka Sharma‘s portrayal of Rosie in the film, especially after NH10. Also, can we just take a moment to acknowledge how amazing Karan Johar looks in the film? #TeamKJoForLife
