Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj must be riding high on the success of Haider. Apart from sweeping all Bollywood award nights and all the critical acclaim, the movie also has a few national film awards in its kitty now. Apparently, though Vishal was a tad bit disappointed that Shahid missed out on the Best Actor Award at the NFA this year, he is extremely happy about the news of Shahid’s apparent wedding.
So you’ve either been living under a rock or you know that the news of Shahid’s engagement to a Delhi girl broke the internet a few days ago. We hear that at Haider‘s success party (that Shahid couldn’t attend as he was busy with Shandar‘s shoot), Vishal was asked for his reaction about Shahid’s wedding. He said that he hasn’t had the time to speak to Shahid and confirm whether the news of his engagement is true. However, he did say that he’d be very happy for Shahid if he has decided to settle down with a suitable girl.
Well Shahid, the mentor approves! Now will you please come out and make an announcement already?
