Sikander Rizvan
Sikander Rizvi

He boasts of drop dead good looks. He has been titled “The Most Eligible Bachelor” and “Heart-throb” by Pakistani newspapers and magazines even before stepping into acting. He is the grandson of legendary singing sensation Madam Noor Jehan and brother of Bollywood actress Sonya Jehan. And – he is said to be Fawad-Khan-in-the-making.

He is Sikander Rizvi, the latest entrant in the world of films, who will be making his debut with interestingly titled Dekh Magar Pyaar Say. With Humaima Mallick [Bol, Raja Natwarlal] as the leading lady opposite him, Sikander is stepping in as a lead for the part which was originally devised for Fawad Khan.

“However, Fawad had other commitments and hence he could not be brought on board,” informs our source, “This turned out to be Sikander’s gain and he was glad to step in.”

The Pakistani film is an ode to love in the cultural capital of Pakistan and is set to release this August 2015!

Our source adds:

The film is produced by Pakistan’s leading motion-picture house Shiny Toy Guns which is headed by leading advertising filmmaker Asad-ul-Haq and prominent marketer Ali Murtaza. The film is set to begin production from April 2015 and is directed by Asad-ul-Haq himself, who is marking his cinematic debut as a director.

According to Asad-ul-Haq, DMPS is based in the cultural capital of Pakistan and will be featuring a spanking brand new outlook on the traditional romantic movie, one that is filled with twists, turns, surprises and everything in between, all the while debunking established clichés associated with the romance genre.

While Fawad has already made his presence felt in India as well as Pakistan, here’s hoping that Sikander joins the ranks as well and showcase his mettle as an actor. Here’s welcoming the new entrant on board!
