Contrary to popular belief, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are friends. The recent L’Oreal event proved it! The two actresses came to the event and gave out a very friendly vibe for each other. And of course as friends do, the two were engaging in some friendly banter. Katrina pointed out how she is usually looking like she’s “going to bed” as compared to Sonam who is always looking like she’s come from a red carpet event.
This instantly reminded Sonam of an incident that she very jovially shared to joke about Kat’s dressing sense:
I remember once I went to a restaurant and Katrina was there with her mom. It was a VERY fancy restaurant, BTW and she was wearing a very simply t-shirt and jeans, no makeup, her hair was tied just like that AND she was wearing flip-flops! I remember I was wearing a Christian Dior skirt and a crop top and Katrina is like ‘are you coming from an event?’ I was like ‘no, no, I’m coming from home, I just put this on!’ She’s like ‘how long did it take for you’ and I was like ‘5 minutes’ and she’s like ‘it took me 5 minutes too!’
Katrina accepted her usual “underdressed” attitude and said:
It’s a very common occurring between me and Sonam. I see her and ask her ‘are you coming from a red carpet event’ and she goes like ‘no I’m coming from home!’ *laughs*
LOL! That’s sporty of Kat!
