It’s here: all the pictures from The Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s Met Gala 2015, an event highly anticipated by fashion-folk the world over. It’s one of the few times in the year we see celebrities, business tycoons, fashionistas, artists, designers, and more walk the red carpet in some of the most risqué outfits ever.
This year’s Met Gala marked the opening of the exhibit: China: Through The Looking Glass, a costume display dedicated to Chinese fashion dated back to the 16th Century. Celebrities in attendance were asked to dress the part and didn’t we love all the inspiration they brought to the red carpet? We aren’t just talking outfits, of course. 1) Glowing Skin
Asian women are touted as having some of the most flawless skin on earth. They’re known for glowing, bright skin and why wouldn’t everyone want that? Hollywood celebrities aren’t just following skincare routines and using products from the east, they’re also experimenting with makeup that provides dewy, soft skin. 2) Sculpted Red Lip
The bold, matte red lip has been an Asian makeup trend that has lasted over the years. It’s classic and when your lips are sculpted to that perfect Oriental pout, it can frame your entire face. Here are the ladies that rocked matte red pouts last night.

5) Eyebrows
Many oriental women tend to have straighter, statement eyebrows, especially when filled in. Heavily drawing in eyebrows have been a historic party of a lot Asian cultures. Lady Gaga, for example, had the perfect geisha eyebrows drawn in.
