All this while, Salman Khan had been keeping himself composed. But when the court finally gave the verdict this afternoon and declared his 5-year long jail sentence, the actor broke down. Reportedly, he initially didn’t react at all but later couldn’t control his tears. The actor sat down and started crying soon after. According to the ones who were present at the venue, his sisters Alvira and Arpita Khan also broke down into tears and started sobbing uncontrollably after the judgement was given.
On the other hand, Sohail Khan had no expressions on his face when he stepped out of the court and he refused to interact with the media. It’s being said that their mother Salma Khan was shocked to hear the news and has fallen rather ill after that.
Apparently, Preity Zinta, Sonakshi Sinha and Sangeeta Bijlani rushed to his residence to be with the Khans at this difficult time. Many other Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to show their love and support for Salman. Here’s what they wrote.
