Karl Lagerfeld‘s latest release, the Chanel 2015/16 CRUISE Collection – Seoul was inspired by the Korean K-Pop scene that has taken the U.S.A and the world by storm. Backstage artists created looks that were a marriage of historic Korean beauty and pop culture ideals, making for some very exaggerated looks. We saw everything from over the top braided buns to almost animated lashes, created by placing falsies towards the outer rim of the eyes.

The show was held in Seoul during the same date as the MET Gala (China: Through The Looking Glass) and Kristen Stewart, Tilda Swinton, and Gisele Bundchen were in attendance. Along with doll-like eyes and technicolor lips, the show presented a range of bright colors and pop prints, but with the classic Chanel tweed style still in tact. I told you Asian-inspired beauty was going to be a thing! What do you think of the looks?
