The wait is almost over. Bombay Velvet is finally going to release tomorrow and we all are quite excited about it. While we can’t wait to witness Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma‘s crackling chemistry on celluloid and see what Anurag Kashyap has in store for us, we’re more than looking forward to seeing Karan Johar‘s badass avatar in the flick.
I’m sure it will be interesting to watch RK Jr. and KJo in the same frame, especial considering the former happens the to be the lead in the latter’s next directorial venture. And the two also happen to share a great camaraderie off scree. When asked about his equation with Ranbir, KJo told a leading daily:
He thinks I’m his toy that he wants to play with as he is all the time amused by me, be it what I say or what I do. He is more a friend now and if you see Ranbir and me in a casual interaction, you will feel that he is the senior and I’m the junior. He is bullying me and back-slapping me all the time. Ranbir is the most charismatic man on and off-screen. I have this deep amount of love for that boy. I love the way he’s so casual about stardom. I love the fact that he’s unabashed, unapologetic and easy about himself. He does not take himself and his work too seriously and yet he is very serious about his work.
