In her final appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2015, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted to… well, blow our minds. She wore a structured Ralph & Russo gown, a look she’s never tried during her previous red carpet appearances at Cannes through the years.
At first, I was like… is that birds flying out of her dress? And then of course, at closer glance I realized they’re geometric embellishments and not birds, or flies, or creepy crawlies from a horror movie. Not saying I don’t love it, though.
The bombshell beauty has been known to stick to more classic silhouettes. The Ralph & Russo kind of structured gown is totally something we would expect Sonam Kapoor to do. In fact, she did slay us in a blue Ralph & Russo design a couple of days ago. Props to celebrity stylist, Aastha Sharma, for pushing Aishwarya out of her comfort zone. We’re noticing a real experimental streak in the L’Oréal brand ambassador’s last two outfit choices. Remember the Hunger Games look from last night?
Aishwarya paired the look with diamonds, metallic heels, and a very powerful manicure. Celebrity nail designer, Tom Bachik, shared this picture of Aish’s nails. She’s wearing Power Potion by L’Oréal Paris Color Riche. She’s also wearing a dusty, metallic eyeshadow that’s making her dress pop. Styled to perfection, if you ask me.
