Garnier Fructis Oil-In-Cream
Garnier Fructis Oil-In-Cream

Have you ever lived without your straightener or blowdryer for more than a week? Did I just make you stop and wonder how long it’s been since you left your hair au natural for more than five days? You can’t can you. Because it’s been THAT long! So you can imagine my dismay when my straightener failed to do anything on my holiday other than have the fuse blow up in my hotel. Yep, that happened. Anyway moving on… I had no straightener, no dry shampoo and 3-day-old hair. FML times, I know. (Also, I have curly hair. So FML x 10).

However what I did have was the new Garnier Fructis Oil-In-Cream range. So, with my disgruntled state of mind I had to make do with what I got. And what I got was a whole lot of frizz after my wash and shampoo. As I read the instructions plastered at the back, I took a dollop sized amount of the cream and gently applied it onto my semi-wet hair. Singapore’s weather is much like Bombay, minus the sweat. I was quite surprised after using the Garnier treatment. It not only toned down the frizz but it made it manageable and soft.

Here’s what I went through step by step:

If you battle frizz and a few damaged strands here and there, you should definitely give this is go. However, one thing that I didn’t agree with (technically my hair didn’t agree with it) was the overnight treatment. It just made things a little sticker and well, not nice.

Hope you guys give it a go and share your experience!
