American hit TV show, The Middle, won hearts in the west and here in the east as well. Now, this semi-dysfunctional family is coming to your TV screens in its own desi version as Tedi Medi Family. Say whaaa??? This family is just like any other Indian family – you might think that the title doesn’t really go with your family, but who are we kidding? We all know deep down that our family is just as crazy as theirs. LOL! You will agree with us once you read what these characters are really like:
Ami Trivedi as Anjali Malhotra
Momma dearest – who will do ANYTHING for her family and relatives. They are her heart and soul. No matter how much they get on her nerves, she will still be the most caring person in the family (remind you of every mother?).
Iqbal Azad as Vivek Malhotra
Iqbal will be seen as the man of the family, who is a no-nonsense man. Compared to his tedi-medi-family, this one is quite sorted, since he is very straightforward in his approach to life. And obviously, he’s the most emotionally stable person in the house!
Sushant Mohindra as Shanky Malhotra
Sushant will be playing the family’s eldest son and trust us, he’s like any other brother. He is sarcastic, lazy and mean to his adorable siblings, but would do anything for them if need be!
Saloni Daini as Suhani Malhotra
She will be playing the role of the 2nd child of the family. This bubbly, teenage girl who wears braces and is just like you (whether you have an older brother or not) is always troubled by her older brother. She might not be the most popular girl in school or a teacher’s pet, yet she manages to get by with a happy-shiny outlook on life. Aww!
Dharmik Joisar as Veer Malhotra
And finally, the youngest of them all! This little munchkin is a book worm and the heart of the family. He loves to read and probably has more knowledge about things around than the four crazies around him. So cute!
