Brace yourselves, the IIFA Weekend is coming and all of Bollywood (well, most of it, including our Boss Lady MissMalini and Pocket Stylist Anushka Mulchandani) will be in Malaysia soon! As you must be knowing, the babas of B-town – Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor will be hosting the main awards ceremony happening on Sunday night. One would obviously expect the two to chill and laze around before the D-day, but Ranveer ain’t a regular boyfriend, he’s a cool boyfriend and to live up to his title, he’ll be flying to Bangalore for a day.
The occasion is Deepika Padukone‘s daddy and renowned sports person Prakash Padukone’s 60th birthday. As per reports in Mumbai Mirror:
Ranveer had informed the event organisers that he will not be available for a day as Prakash Padukone’s birthday bash was planned well in advance and he had promised Deepika he would be there. And he’s known to always keep his word. After spending the day with Padukone Sr, he’ll fly back to Malaysia on June 6 (to host the IIFA awards), and then return to Bhansali’s set three days later.
