Usually when two actresses are working together in a movie, there are bound to be rumours of some bitchiness and catfights. However, Priyanka Chopra does not agree with such terms and useless rumours. She is one of the actresses who is known to be very cordial with her contemporaries. So, when in an interview with Hindustan Times, she was asked about her equation with her supposed “rival,” Deepika Padukone, here’s what she said:
We’ve had a great time. Deepika and I have a few scenes together and a song. [On the sets], we used to sit in a corner and chit-chat, much to Sanjay sir’s (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) disappointment (smiles). In fact, he would say, “Arey, you two are coming from the van doing thumri.” We have known each other for a long time, even before she became an actor since we had a lot of common friends. We only have love, respect and admiration for each other.
It seems like the two actresses are genuinely really good friends, which makes us happy. You remember our girl crush dreams, right? *LOL*
