Right before my birthday in May, I was having a phase, a very weird phase. This ‘phase’ forced me (yes forced me) to get my hair coloured red. Because, why not? Not the best decision of my life because firstly, it was done in a salon good enough to get your eyebrows threaded but nothing more; and secondly I ran off to Goa the next day. The whole ‘post hair colouring care‘ thing went out of the window and the chlorophyll in the pool was enough to remove all the traces of red within 2 days. I came back from my fun trip with hair looking like this.
Yaas. Fun times.

Seeing my distressed tresses, Mallika (from Team MissMalini) suggested that I go get this mess sorted by checking out Wella Professionals Salon near our office. Obviously I jumped at this opportunity (as I was contemplating going bald) and bolted to the salon at the earliest. Their hair expert (and my guardian angel) Carol, very kindly inspected my hair and figured that these highlights were too loud for me. Carol asked me to choose from the Warm, Neutral and Cool colour palette, I was spoilt for choice.
I went with the ‘warm‘ colour palette and chose the darkest shades available there because the golden locks had blinded me for long enough.
The process of putting colour in my hair took a while (because they’re rather thick) but the duration of keeping the colour and washing it off took barely twenty minutes. Very cool I must say. Very very very cool, actually I was so happy I had tears in my eyes (something the cameras could never catch).
Have you seen me look any happier? Ever? I think not. The colouring was done and hair care advice was given, at the end of this experiential I really couldn’t stop smiling like a complete goof.
