Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan

Guys, Karan Arjun aa gaye fo shizz now! So if you know anything about MissMalini‘s Team Bollywood, you’d know that nothing warms our hearts more than some good old bromance between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Like them making biryani plans on Twitter and breaking the internet wasn’t enough, my favourite Khans have now taken their brotherhood to another level.

So as you know, Salman’s Sultan and SRK’s Raees were both slated for an Eid 2016 release. Both big films, both intriguing teasers and both much anticipated projects. While an official confirmation is still to be made,  we hear that Sultan is being postponed to Diwali so that both movies get a solo release. That’s right! Everyone knows about bhai ki Eid and King Khan ki Diwali… so yes, they’ve actually swapped holidays too! I think I’m going to cry.

The idea behind this epic swaps is basically that both the stars have massive fan followings (duh!) and the makers didn’t want to divide audiences.

Both the Khans have spoken about the clash openly at recent events.

While SRK said…

Yes, we’re such good friends now that we do everything together. Moreover, we have so many movies being made every year in this industry, it is bound to happen that more than one movie releases on the same day.

Salman said…

I love Shah Rukh a lot and I don’t think he needs to worry at all because the last time our movies came together he had beaten me. So, even if Sultan and Raees are releasing on the same day, loss mera hi hoga.

*Fangirl screams*

Erm. However, the fact of the matter remains that Diwali 2016 was already going to be a war between Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay. With Salman joining in, should we be expecting a major threeway?

Man, why do we have such few weeks in a year!?
