Kangana Ranaut‘s career is already on a high – not only has she been well-received in her recent films like Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Queen, but she also has some other great films in the pipeline, like Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Rangoon. And now, if word is to be believed, she’s been brought on board for another interesting project: Rajkumar Hirani‘s upcoming film, which is a Sanjay Dutt biopic!
If these reports are to be believed, then Kangana will be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor for the first time (Hirani had earlier announced that Ranbir would be playing the role of Sanjay Dutt). That’s definitely a very new pairing for Bollywood, and will be a fantastic one to see, since they’re both very talented actors who have carried entire films on their shoulders.
These rumours sparked when Kangana was seen leaving Hirani’s house with her sister, Rangoli. However, other reports suggest that Kangana was actually there to meet with the director for an upcoming ad film that she’s doing alongside Amitabh Bachchan. So as of now, there’s no clarity on what’s actually happening – but it would be something else to see Kangana play Manyaata, especially since reports have it that she and Manyaata haven’t been friends for a while.
