The trailer of Shaandaar was launched with much fanfare, with Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor fielding questions on everything, from Alia wearing a bikini to Shahid’s marriage. But the question of the day was a reporter asking Shahid the similarities between Alia and Kareena Kapoor Khan! Wondering why anyone would bring this up? Well, because everyone and their grandma knows that Kareena is Alia’s ultimate icon and Karan Johar also believes that his prodigy reminds him of Bebo. But Shahid disagrees, here’s what he said on this topic:
Alia and Kareena have no similarities besides the fact that I have done romantic comedies with both. It is very brave of someone as young as Alia to choose the kind of films she has. She has carved her own niche with the kind of projects she has chosen and I am very proud of her.
