The September issue of VOGUE (one of the most important issues of the year) is the bomb.com! No, seriously. My love for Beyoncé has just hit an all-time high, if that’s even possible. The prestigious magazine chose Queen Bey to grace their cover for a 3rd time (also, the 3rd time a black woman has ever graced the cover of the big September issue) and the photoshoot exhibits her in the most subtly enticing way possible!

On the cover, she’s wearing a sheer Marc Jacobs number. She’s rocking a grunge bob with minimal makeup throughout the spread, paired with outfits from Givenchy, Stella McCartney, and Atelier Versace. It’s a wonderful juxtaposition that gives us an intimate feel into the enigma that is Beyoncé!

The spread was shot by Mario Testino and the piece for the September cover spread was written by Margo Jefferson, edited by Tonne Goodman. The article introduces us to the metamorphosis of the “pop diva” from Tina Turner to Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, and B! It looks at the impact that powerful women have and the cultural icons they’ve become: one of the biggest names being, Beyoncé, their cover star. It makes for an interesting read and the photos make for a visual treat! Check out their exclusive video.

Hmmm… creepy, right? I love it, anyway! What about you?
