Karan Johar‘s Shuddhi has been one of the most talked about projects. A whole line up of actors dropped in and out of the movie and now, finally, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be doing the film. One of the actors KJo wanted for Shuddhi was Salman Khan, but it didn’t work out logistically at the time. Not that there’s any bad blood between them, but that did not stop bhai from taking Karan’s case completely when he was on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa recently to promote Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty‘s Hero.
Karan is one of the judges on the show and apparently, Salman started begging KJo to take him back in the film – all in good humour, of course. This isn’t the first time that Salman has made Shuddhi jokes. At the Bajrangi Bhaijaan trailer launch, when asked why he wasn’t a part of Shuddhi, he said it’s because Karan threw him out!
Lol! I’m already looking forward to KJo’s comeback on the show.
