The elder daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi Kapoor is easily one of the most talked about star kids today. Her gorgeous red carpet appearances to her stunning selfies with her sister, Khushi – there are many things that have contributed to her soaring popularity. Naturally, everyone’s looking forward to her Bollywood debut as we all are well-acquainted to the news of her aspirations to be a heroine like her mom. The youngster has been awaiting the right script to find her ultimate launch vehicle. And if sources are to be believed, it seems she has finally found a project of her choice.

According to reports, Jhanvi has been approached to play the lead in a film by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the father of popular scenarist, SS Rajamouli (he has written the scripts of the recent blockbusters Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan). The movie will be simultaneously made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Apparently, the actor who has been chosen to play the lead opposite Jhanvi in this film is the Southern star, Dulquer Salmaan.

His performance in ace director Mani Ratnam‘s Tamil romantic drama, OK Kanmani has fetched him a lot of fame down South and looks like he just got his ticket to Bollywood. Being a Bengali girl who has grown up in Mumbai, I don’t understand Tamil at all. But I watched OK Kanmani with subtitles as the internet was flooded with rave reviews about it. And I was in awe of this guy. He is not a mirror-cracking material, but there’s something so endearing and charming about him that makes him a delight to watch.

But right now, I shouldn’t get all that excited and wait for things to fall in place and see if at all Jhanvi makes her debut opposite Salmaan.
