The new Estée Lauder campaign video is out introducing the brand’s new eight-hour-wear makeup for the woman on the go. Great, right? What’s even greater, the video where 19-year-old Kendall Jenner and her posse of modelesque friends are glued to their cell phones. Don’t follow how this relates to their new product? Yeah neither did I at first, until I saw the video.
Appropriately titled Party Zombies, the video show that each time a new friend arrives at the party, the model jumps up to greet them. And a few seconds later returns once again texting on her iPhone while sitting alongside several other gorgeous guests who are all doing the same thing. Déjà vu of a party you’ve been to? Well, there’s one thing you’re missing out on – Kendall whipping out her trusty double wear makeup to go compact that makes the party really come to life.
As much as it is a bit of a stretch, we’re quite amused by this video. And the message it’s trying to send across is; phones off, makeup on! Time to get out of the phone trance, guys!
