Actor Khalid Siddiqui, currently seen in Life OK’s Dream Girl, has been arrested by the Mumbai police. As per media reports, Khalid’s estranged wife accused him of molesting her. Khalid and his wife Raahat parted ways two years ago and their children stay with Khalid.
Apparently, Raahat confronted Khalid about spending time with his girlfriend when their son was ill. Post the confrontation, Khalid allegedly molested her and even tried to strangle her. Raahat registered a case at the Khar police station and the actor was arrested early morning yesterday.
Siddiqui, however, was granted bail by the Bandra court. Siddiqui’s lawyer was also quoted as saying to the media that it was a mere dispute between husband and wife and there were no serious charges in the matter.
