Now that Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have been “banned” by Shiv Sena from entering the state of Maharashtra, their respective Bollywood movies might have to stall their shoots. No one wants to mess with political parties, so they’re now making arrangements out of the country.
While Fawad will be seen in two Karan Johar movies – he is currently shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London – arrangements will have to be made for Kapoor and Sons. According to a leading tabloid, a source said,
He won’t take the risk of bringing Fawad into Mumbai for any shooting or promotional activities. Karan has already been in trouble with the same political outfit earlier for referring to ‘Mumbai’ as ‘Bombay’. He can’t take the risk again.
And as for Mahira, who will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Farhan Akhtar‘s Raees, the source said:
Chances are, the producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani may shoot Mahira’s portions in Dubai or some other location away from Mumbai where most of Raees has been shot.
