Yes, we’ve been missing her! Priyanka Chopra has been super wrapped up in the US with Quantico, which is why she’s been absent thus far from the promotions of Bajirao Mastani in India – Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been holding fort. However, PC fans will be happy to know that she is indeed joining the team for promotions: she is flying to Mumbai this weekend – Friday night – for one day to accompany Ranveer and Deepika for a promotional event. After that, she will return to Montreal to complete her commitments with Quantico.
A source close to the film adds:
Despite being miles away from home and shooting on a choc-o-bloc schedule for Quantico, Priyanka is constantly in touch with the team and in the loop of everything happening on the film in terms of marketing and promotions. Slotting her dates has been difficult but she has made the time to fit in the film’s promotions into her schedule as she is very excited about it.
In addition, Priyanka will be back some time in December for a more robust round of promotions, so there is that to look forward to. It’s incredible, though, just how much work PC manages to pack in – sometimes you have to wonder whether she operates on the same 24-hours-a-day that we do!
