Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone‘s undeniable chemistry was evident during an interview with India TV for Bajirao Mastani. They spoke at length about their roles and the preparation it took to be Bajirao and Mastani, but the best part for me was when the interviewer asked Ranveer and Deepika what they thought when they saw each other for the first time. Deepika candidly said that she was a little taken aback when she saw the trailer of Band Baaja Baaraat as she was like – Who’s this guy? Why so much energy? But for Ranveer, it was love at first sight. He mentioned that he saw Deepika for the first time at the Zee Cine Awards in a silver dress and he was flat!

So cute! Even while answering fan questions, Ranveer had no qualms talking about how gorgeous Deepika looked in that dress.
Deepika also spoke about how Ranveer is the only actor in Bollywood who could have played a role as complicated and intense as Bajirao.
