Oh No! Rashami Desai & Nandish Sandhu Are Getting A Divorce!

Popular television couple Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu have been in a tempestuous relationship since years now. Rumours of their marriage breaking down had been doing the rounds since a while, Rashami’s friends and family blamed Nandish of cheating on her while his friends believed that it was Rashami’s possessiveness which he couldn’t deal with. The couple did try to make things work by participating in Nach Baliye 7. But Rashami’s absence from important events in Nandish’s family (like marriages and birthdays) raised a few eyebrows on the status of their relationship. It now seems like the two are going to divorce for good and have already began the legal proceedings. In a statement given to Bombay Times, Rashami said that –

Yes, the divorce proceedings have begun. We tried our best to save the marriage, but the cracks in the relationship were beyond repair. If two people are not happy together, it’s better to end the relationship than prolong the suffering. We decided that we should free each other from the marital bond.

Nandish was candid as well –

Rashami had asked for a divorce last year, but I convinced her to give our marriage another try. However, when she asked for it again, I did not resist because I’ve tried my best to make things work.

On his rumoured relationship with a model, he said –

I’ve always been vocal about my personal and professional life as I feel that I have a responsibility towards my fans. So, if I am in a relationship, I will speak about it. But there is nothing as such right now.

A source close to the couple has said that their families have supported their decision. While Nandish is seeing a model now, Rashami is keeping herself occupied with work.
