Remember Yeh Meri Life Hai? I remember being hooked when the Hindi TV serial first debuted back in 2004, because it was so cool. Young people! No saas-bahu drama! A super cool college! It was a pretty refreshing show when it first aired. Of course, like most other shows, it went downhill after some time and lost all of its initial appeal, but I remember it being a big deal. The lead of that show, Shama Sikander, hasn’t been the star of any TV series since, which is why most of us will always remember her as the Yeh Meri Life Hai girl. Personally the transformation doesn’t seem too major to me, because I feel like we’ve been seeing Shama out-and-about – however, people who remember her strictly from her Yeh Meri Life Hai days would, indeed, find this a big change!
