Divyanka Tripathi got engaged to her Yeh Hai Mohabattein co-star Vivek Dahiya over the weekend in a secret ceremony (check out all the photos!). In an interview to Indian Express, Vivek spoke at length about Divyanka and his love for her.

1. On how it feels to be engaged…
It feels good giving myself the assurance that I will be able to adhere to the commitment that I have given.
2. On being happy…
We both are extremely happy. We have finally found the one, the one that we were always in search for.
3. On it being an arranged match…
It wasn’t love at first sight. It was an arranged match. We were introduced by a common friend who is also a fellow actor.
4. On how it started…
We often met after work and eventually started understanding that we are very compatible and similar to each other and we can take it further.
5. On their families…
Both our families have met. They are extremely fond of each other. It didn’t feel like they were meeting for the first time.
6. On what he loves most about her…
I love that she manages her personal and professional life really well. That she does it beautifully and effortlessly. Sometimes I have to look out for her so that she gives some time for herself to sleep. She can compromise on all those things to balance it out. I feel guilty but it is not something that many would do for their partners.
7. On her fans…
I have seen how fans have been supportive all across the globe towards her. I am still a new entrant. I am a baby in the industry. But I feel that I am making space and room for myself as I go along. All the love and support that have been coming through makes me feel extremely humble.
8. On being romantic…
Divyanka is romantic at heart like me. I always thought that I am and I never knew earlier if I would find a girl who would reciprocate in the same manner. But Divyanka certainly is.
9. On their Valentines Day plans…
We will see what our schedules permits and how many days we can spare. We would like to go somewhere ideally for Valentines Day.
