Jagga Jasoos has been in the works for a long time. Like, a long time. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif began filming back in early 2014, although at that time there were reports that the shoot schedule had been sidelined because of their earlier break-up. They ended up patching up after that, but the film continued to get delayed. And in a weird twist, now that shooting has commenced again, the two have broken up yet again. Reports suggest that they’re completely cordial on sets, so it’s probably not the break-up that’s affecting their shoot schedule. However, there does seem to be a delay.
The film was supposed to first release in late 2014, but continuously got pushed. It was then supposed to release in May 2015, but that didn’t happen either. And finally, it was slated for a June 3rd release. But in a recent interview to Pinkvilla, Katrina revealed that there’s yet another delay. Apparently, nearly 40% of the movie is yet to be shot. And according to the actress, as per the last discussion she’s had with the team, the film will now be out at the end of July or in August.
