On of India’s most loved actresses, Madhuri Dixit‘s nephew, Sheehan Dixit is going to venture into Bollywood soon. Some of you might recognise him from TV shows like Veer Shivaji and Chandragupta Maurya.
While speaking to Asian Age, he said:
I am just following my passion. I couldn’t keep myself away from what is in my DNA and what I love, so here I am — chasing my dreams to make them come true. I have been waiting in the aisle to see myself on the big screen but not just for the sake of it. I wish to pave my own way with my individual approach to cinema. In a bid to be visible I don’t wish to attach my name with a project I am not completely convinced. It has always been quality over quantity for me and I shall abide by it.
I can’t reveal any details as of now, but I will share them soon. I have signed a film with a big production house.
His aunt Madhuri also shared how he came to her for advice:
Sheehan had come to me, asking for advice about his career. He has certainly inherited the acting gene, which is a blessing. He can approach me anytime for advice. But I’ve asked him also to achieve success on his own, to pave his path, establish his credentials.
