People were pretty surprised to hear that Alia Bhatt would be starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Gauri Shinde‘s next film because of the huge age difference, but looks like there’s another surprise in store! Reports doing the rounds suggest that the young actress may now be roped in for a project opposite Akshay Kumar!
Sriram Raghavan, who earlier made Badlapur, is working on a thriller that is based on Sheeja Jose‘s book, Gone With The Bullet. And when asked about casting, the author said that Sriram would agree “Akshay Kumar would be perfect as the brooding, dark assassin and Alia Bhatt as the new-age girl in love.”
It would be an apt casting, too, as the story’s about an 18-year-old who falls in love with a 40-plus assassin.
Nothing seems to be confirmed as of yet, but this sounds like it’d be a super interesting pair. Also, fun fact: this wouldn’t be the first time Alia and Akshay work alongside each other, since Alia was a child artist in Akshay’s 1999 film, Sangharsh.
