You may have heard that Rishi Kapoor left the trailer launch of Kapoor And Sons before it had really started. The actor was seen typing on his phone and looking disturbed, after which he whispered something to Karan Johar. He then made a hurried exit while the event was about to begin. Turns out, he got a call right before everyone started moving from the holding area towards the press.
Unfortunately, the actor’s mother – Krishna Raj Kapoor – was admitted at Breach Candy hospital at that time. The good news is that she’s stable and will be discharged soon.
Here’s what Randhir Kapoor told IANS:
She has been hospitalised. She is stable now and shall be getting discharged soon. It is just age-related issues… Nothing to worry about.
