Love him or hate him, you most definitely cannot ignore him. That’s the thing about Kanye West! He showcased Season 3 of Yeezy at NYFW Fashion Week along with the release of his newest album The Life Of Pablo. Even Anna Wintour couldn’t stay away from that!
While the mainstays of the collection were spandex body suits accessorised with skull caps and oversized jackets, the earthy colour palette was the one thing that really caught our attention. But then, BOOM, out walked supermodel Naomi Campbell, fierce as always and stole the show.
While Kanye’s brand of style might not be for everyone, he sure does know how to work an event. The Kardashian-Jenner clan showed up, just as a posse might, coordinated in all-white ensembles that were a collaborative design effort by Yeezy x Balmain. (And apparently it was all designed in 5 days!)
Exotic as it was, the family got what they wanted alright, and that is A LOT of attention! Their outfits combined Yeezy’s distressed knits with Balmain’s signature luxurious fur and embellishments proved to be eye-catching as hell!
Also, Lamar Odom (BIL to Kanye) made his first public appearance in a long time. Supermodel sisters, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid were also there, as was music mogul Jay Z, L’il Kim, 50 Cent, model Karlie Kloss and even Olivier Rousteing, the man behind Balmain and the Kardashian-Jenner looks, all showed up in support of Kanye. Talk about a turn out?!
