A source told Mumbai Mirror that it was a traditional Hindu wedding and the couple took their pheras in a gorgeous outdoor mandap near Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills with the stunning skyline of LA as the backdrop. It seems Preity’s mom, Nilprabha Zinta was the wedding planner and she oversaw all the arrangements. Preity’s BFFs, Sussanne Khan and her sister Farah Khan Ali were always by the bride’s side. However, Farah had to fly back before the wedding, Sussanne was present there to celebrate this special occasion accompanied by Surily Goel.
While wishes have been pouring in for the actress from all her B-town friends, her fans are dying to see some photos of her D-Day. A popular LA-based artist, DJ Amara had shared a photo from the night with the caption, “What a beautiful night to celebrate love. #Indianwedding #preityzinta #bollywood #djamara #stunningview #outdoorwedding.” However, the picture has been now deleted. And that’s because Preity and Gene have struck an exclusive pictures deal with a reputed publication and all the proceeds will go to the NGO, Preity Zinta Foundation.
Reportedly, a grand reception will be held in Mumbai once the newlyweds return to the city. The guest list includes the Bachchans, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and the other who’s who of Bollywood.
