You’ve probably heard by now that Alia Bhatt is gifting herself a rather extravagant present for her birthday this year – her own place! She’s moving out of her parents’ house and into her own home, and, from the sounds of it, it’s going to be one amazing place to chill.
Of course, there’s going to be a housewarming party of sorts, and the people in charge of that are Alia’s BFFs, Akansha and Anushka Ranjan. Alia herself doesn’t have too much time since she’s swamped with the promotions of Kapoor And Sons, so she’s handed over the party planning job to her childhood friends.
The theme for the party will be Bollywood (I know, shocker) and the playlist will include some of Alia’s best songs.
Here’s what Anushka has to say about the plan:
Alia will be in Delhi to promote her upcoming film on her birthday, March 15, and I’ll be in Dubai so we’ll party in her new home when we’re back. The theme will be Bollywood for obvious reasons.
Elaborating on her relationship with Alia, she said:
We still go out for lunches and dinners. It’s hard to see Alia as a superstar. For me, she’s still my little sister. I have known her since she was six minutes old.
