Waluscha De Sousa will soon be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in YRF‘s Fan. This Goan beauty was first spotted by designer Wendell Rodricks who also encouraged her to participate in the Miss India pageant. There has been no looking back for her ever since.
She went on to become a successful model and found love in fellow model Marc Robinson. They got married in 2002 when she was just 19 years old.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, De Souza said:
It all happened very quickly and I disappeared into another life. I was only 19 and in love, it felt like the right thing to do at the time. I’ve never tried to over-think a situation or fight what life has in store. I’ve always followed my heart. I got married and had three babies, it was a part of my life’s journey.
The couple who has three kids, Chanel, Brooklyn and Sienna, got divorced 10 years later. Her kids today, as she says, are very happy for her and she is proud of them.
She got to debut with her favourite actor SRK and already has many film offers out of which she might be announcing her second film soon.
I’m in a happy space today, very content physically, emotionally and mentally. I’m living every moment, unlike my modelling days when I would take certain things for granted. I want to make the most of every opportunity.
