If you thought day 1 at Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter ’16 was intense, just wait till you see what day 2 had to offer. Malini Ramani, Anita Dongre, Nikasha, Dhruv Kapoor, all brought something amazing to the table but one man stole the entire show. Rajesh Pratap Singh‘s Gold Rush had us wanting almost each and every piece.

Take a look at some of our favourites from day 2 at AIFW…

Anaikka

Anaikka‘s womenswear collection was infused with some menswear this season. AW marked her debut menswear line and her collection ‘Lock, Stitch & Gothic Twist’ was everything grand and regal.

Virtues by Viral, Ashish & Vikrant

Another show featuring some menswear, Virtues’ AW collection ‘Mashru’ came with traditional silhouettes weaved in sateen, while keeping Islamic aesthetics in mind.

Rimzim Dadu

Rimzim’s show started with an instillation. She brought her karigars and tailors to the runway and the audience was allowed to walk around and get an actual feel of her fabrics and sewing techniques. Once the show started, however, we saw what we touched come to life and the result was surreal.

Dhruv Kapoor

Innovative layering and a mash up of different textures were the stars in Dhruv Kapoor‘s collection. Warm colours, sporty silhouettes and a whole lot of meat sleeves came abundantly through the show.

Samant Chauhan

Samant Chauhan’s ‘The Silk Route’ was set up in a frozen forest. In shades of grey, maroon, peach and off-white, pleats and interwoven floral embroidery, the collection was Samant’s take on festive winter wear.

Malini Ramani

Wearing a mix of earthy tones and sexy silhouettes, Malini’s models walked the runway to a very soothing soundtrack. Her classic drapes and tribal elements were revamped to create her Supernova collection.
