If you know me, you also know that I wear black like it’s going out of style. I tend to wear the colour almost everyday, so it’s my duty (and responsibility) to try and make it look different every time I do. Black is a colour that looks good on everyone, it makes you look slimmer and adds some chicness to your outfit. Here’s how I keep it interesting every time I wear it…
Add a quirky element
In my case, I added two! I paired my off-shoulder dress with gladiator sandals and clear glasses. If you want to break the all-blackness of the look, carry a bag in a contrasting shade.
Throw on a layer
An LBD and heels can be a bit meh. Add on a layer (in a different length could be cool) to give people something to look at.
Black on black can pass off as a one piece
I’m wearing a black skirt with a black tee, but it could very well pass off as a dress!
Bring on the bling
The colour makes your jewellery really stand out. So don’t forget to accessorise when you wear black and this time, really have fun with it!
So you see? Just because it’s black doesn’t mean it’s boring!
