If everything falls into place, my favourite actor Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing the lead role in my favourite director Imtiaz Ali‘s next. SRK has been dissed by many for doing masala films like Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Dilwale in the last few years. After all, everyone expects to see him in meaningful cinema like Chak De! India and Swades and not in the massy flicks.
But now, the superstar is all set to wow us with interesting movies like Fan, Raees, Gauri Shinde‘s next! And then he also has Imtiaz’s project in his kitty. Isn’t that so exciting? I love the Highway director’s style of filmmaking, his Sufiana andaaz and the kind of romance that one gets to see in each of his movies. I’m sure he will weave magic when he gets together with the king of romance for his upcoming venture.
If reports are to be believed SRK’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star, Anushka Sharma has been approached to be his leading lady in this one. Reportedly, the film will be shot across London and Punjab. I am super thrilled, what about you? Considering this will be both SRK and Anushka’s first project with the filmmaker, everyone can expect a lot of surprises coming their way. Yay!
