While going through the Bollywood threads on Quora, I came across this interesting snippet, where a girl wrote about her school days. Interestingly, Anushka Sharma was in the same school as this girl and she had nothing but really nice things to say about the stunning actress. Check her post out, it reveals a new dimension of the actress who isn’t known to be very vocal about her life.
Anushka Sharma was my senior in Army Public School, Bangalore. She is one year elder to me.
Her father is an army officer. When I was in 9th, she was in 10th and she had already started modelling for a few small time ads. Her name had appeared on the Bangalore times front page. She was very popular in school. She still looks the same even now.
She appeared in an ad of Spinz talc which used to appear regularly on TV.

Man, was she gorgeous!!
Another important thing is that she was a very bright student and many teachers used to praise her for juggling studies as well as her career together very well and that too at such a small age.
Another interesting thing is that she was Sergeant of the Girls NCC contingent of our school. I was an NCC cadet during that time too. She was very strict with the discipline of the contingent and everybody really admired her. People suggested that she should try to get into the NCC Girls contingent Republic Day Parade (for people who are not aware, being selected into the NCC contingent for RD parade is quite difficult). However, she did not try because I think she already had many ad assignments, which she would not have given up for the RD parade.
I wish I had a group photo of our contingent but unfortunately I don’t.
She was also very soft spoken and well mannered.
There was always a star like quality in her since the beginning and when we heard that she was going to star in her debut movie opposite SRK, it didn’t come as a surprise.
I have been receiving many questions asking me whether she still knows/recognizes me. I would like to let everybody know that I spoke to her a few times in School, and I left that school after my 10th. So, I am sure there is no chance she would recognize me now.
