This is really sad, Malayalam film producer Ajay Krishnan, committed suicide at his home last Saturday. According to Hindustan Times, a report on The New Indian Express revealed that Krishnan committed suicide after watching a preview of his upcoming film. An unnamed police source stated –
He was concerned over the success of the film at the box office. He had also shared his concern with his parents. It seems that the film cost him Rs 4 crore and he was facing financial crisis. This might have forced him to take the extreme step.
The publication reported that Ajay’s parents Radhakrishnan Pillai and Jayakumari, were at home at the time of the incident.
