Kamya Punjabi is definitely one of the strongest women in the Indian TV industry. She picks roles that are empowered and in her personal life too, she’s never been the kind of celebrity that shies away from calling a spade a spade. Kamya always speaks her mind and makes no bones about it. That’s why her latest interview to TOI doesn’t even come as a surprise.
Her ex-boyfriend Karan Patel is now married to Ankita Bhargava and their wedding had come as quite a shock to everyone as Kamya and Karan were seemingly going strong. Kamya hasn’t spoken ill of Karan ever and has refrained from commenting on his marital life too (which is often under the scanner for allegedly being on the rocks) – But she broke her silence recently.
She said:
For me, love doesn’t change with seasons or according to family’s convenience. I have and will always love Karan Patel. I have never spoken about the reason why we separated and I won’t speak about it in the future as well. I still love him but I don’t want him back in my life. I can never forget the pain that I’ve gone through because of him. I can never forgive him for that.
