At a recent event for Housefull 3, the cast was asked about their thoughts on the Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut controversy, since there’s a big war happening in Bollywood right now. Akshay Kumar was the only one who answered, and his reply made the entire hall crack up. Without hesitating, he replied, “The war isn’t happening in Bollywood – it’s happening in my building!” (Hrithik and Akshay stay in the same building.)
The journalist who asked the question pressed forward though, and Akshay replied in a more serious manner. Here’s what he said:
I would hope that everything ends in a nice way. That’s what the whole thing is – how long can the war go on? You guys [the media] are enjoying it so much. It shouldn’t happen like that. I think the time has come now for it to stop.
