Jacqueline Fernandez spoke to Bombay Times about working with Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri in Housefull 3 and really had the nicest things to say about the two. Jacqueline recounted how all the female energy was such a positive change in the sets and how the boys couldn’t play any pranks on them as they gave them a taste of their own medicine. Here are excerpts from her interview –
On knowing Lisa since a while –
Lisa and I gave our first audition together in Delhi for a fashion week, and this was before we even signed movies. We shared the same room, discussing our future. It is really cool to see her growth in the industry.
On Nargis –
I know Nargis as she had performed an item number in Kick. It was nice to have all that female energy, which is sometimes missing on a set. And we were so united that the guys could never get to play their pranks on us. In fact, we gave them a taste of their own medicine. Actors need to connect with each other while filming a comedy like this one.
And if she ever gave advice to any of them –
No way, it was girl power all the way. In fact, I learnt a thing or two from them. Lisa’s comic timing is amazing and she can make people laugh. She didn’t need any tips or advice. Nargis is carefree and unintentionally funny. It was an interesting combination of different personalities.
