This Jack Wills advertisement was released with slogans like “Whatever your choice, you can be sure it’s what’s underneath that counts” and “Midnight Mischief”. This ad in its spring catalogue was banned by The Advertising Standards Authority for being “sexually suggestive”.

However, the brand maintained that it targets customers from the age of 18 to 24 and their website has a restriction for under-18 teenagers. But ASA believes that younger teens can view these ads directly or indirectly and the “images and text were sufficiently sexualised to be inappropriate for that audience”.
