When InStyle magazine’s August issue hits stands on July 8, people will see our very own Priyanka Chopra looking fresh and fine on the cover. She was styled by fashion director of the magazine, Melissa Rubini, who chose this floral dress by Gucci that featured both frills and embellishments in the most inviting set of colours. Both those things coupled with the use of sheer fabric on the dress make it the ultimate Spring outfit. What’s great is that every element of this look is complementary to the vibe of the season. PC’s hair, styled by Peter Gray was made to feel as if she just stepped out of the shower or out of the pool and even her fresh-faced makeup by Yumi Mori gave off the same vibe. Only the matte red lip was the one element that added the requisite drama to the look. I actually really find this cover so inviting that I want to get my hands on the magazine and read it from beginning to end. And isn’t that the point of a cover, after all? Great work, Thomas Whiteside, you made Priyanka look like a Spring dream.
