The driver of Salman Khan‘s car Harish Dulani, who had given a statement to the lower court which had sentenced 5 years imprisonment to Salman went missing when the actor’s appeal was heard by the Rajashtan High Court. The man has now given an exclusive interview to NDTV.com where he has said that his parents were threatened after he gave evidence against Salman in front of the magistrate. During the latest hearings, when Salman was acquitted of all charges due to insufficient evidence, Harish did not record his statement this time as adequate protection was not provided to his family. Here’s what he said –

My father received threats, so I got scared and moved out of a town near Jodhpur. If I had police protection, I could have given a statement. That was what I always intended.

Harish Dulani, was missing since 2002, which weakened the prosecution’s case against Salman.
