Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel were one of TV’s most loved couples. The two got together on Bigg Boss and Upen proposed to her during Nach Baliye (yes, from one reality show to another). They also hosted the gloriously underrated Love School, so what could go wrong? In a statement to Pinkvilla, Karishma revealed why they broke-up –
Sometimes there is no answer to what went wrong. Sometimes two wonderful people or good souls are not meant be together. That’s what happened to us. Upen is a wonderful soul. We connected very strongly, but things didn’t move the way we wanted it to. It’s not that I don’t want to settle down or I am jumping from one relationship to another. We both wanted to settle down, but if we don’t see our future together then its better to part ways.
When asked whether they’re still on talking terms, she said they are. Karishma is set to appear in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa too, who knows they might get back together on that show?
