We’re used to Salman Khan dominating Eid releases – for several years, his films have been releasing during this festival, so his fans have come to expect a big Salman Khan flick at that time of the year. Last year, however, the actor dominated both Eid and Diwali: he had Bajrangi Bhaijaan release during Eid, and then Prem Ratan Dhan Payo later in the year.
Now, in 2016, there’s one other Bollywood star who can claim to have dominated both Eid and Diwali – but it’s not one of the Khans. It’s actually Anushka Sharma: she had Sultan release during Eid, and now she’s gearing up for her next big film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which will hit theatres around Diwali time. It’s one of the biggest films of the year, and will definitely have a big opening.
