Well, this is sad! Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 had its first elimination last night, and the contestant to leave was Gaurav Gera, who has been performing as his character Chutki. The actor had a bit of a rough performance yesterday, when he – dressed as Chutki – wasn’t able to dance freely in his outfit, as the skirt kept getting stuck to his heels. The judges appreciated his performance despite the issues, and were looking forward to seeing what he did next. Unfortunately, however, his appearance on the show was cut short and he became the first contestant to be evicted.
